As Al said, the decimal point on your slide rule needs shifting. :-)
However, the roughly 35 mA is total BA-38 drain. In transmit mode, when you're
dipping the final, the plate current to the 3S4 should dip to roughly 8.0 - 8.5
mA. Which is 800 - 850m mW for an efficiency of around 28%. That's low for a
Class C amp but really not too bad considering the frightfully short antenna
and that the emission mode is A3 rather than A1.
I don't have any other original docs (that I can find) that list rf power
output, My recollection was output of around 500 mW but that would require > 50%
efficiency so I think you'd be safe using the 255 figure.
