[Milsurplus] bc-611 to external antenna

I have also been amazed with the BC-611.....I go out
into my yard all the time and try to break in on
on-going QSO's......Had some success a few years ago
using a MAB with the standard telescopic
antenna.....heard some guys talking one being in Tenn.
and I being in WV thought I would give it a
try.....they did hear me but could not pull me out of
the mud......If anybody would like to try a middle of
the nite contact using BC-611's sometime on 3.885 or
what ever you have in your  rig, let me know ...I have
a bunch of crystal sets that I could put in my MAB and
give it a try...maybe get a couple guys all on the
same freq and listening at the same time....you could
contact me off list.....that would be a blast...mike.
