Don't waste your time with those Dollar store 9 volt batteries. They have 1/4 of the capacity and have high internal resistance. Test your proposed battery before you buy a bunch of them. i use Duracells. i have 2 BC-611's and need some BC-611 crystals and a tank coil. Paul w0rw
