The two units I have were both produced by Gruen Industries. They both also 
have a Canadian Armed Services ID tag on them. TM 11-5120 (TO 33A1-5-65-1) 
dated May 1957 is the corresponding manual. Both of mine have the AC Power 
Supply. The unit with the film strip display mentioned in one of the other 
posts is most likely an FR-149/USM-159. It uses either four "D" cells or 120 
VAC.
