Thanks for the Ebay lead - that helps eliminate that 
possibility, so it must be from the conversion article.
The front panel is still Command Set, altho the roller
coil and PA tuned circuit is gone. The plastic dial,
professionally numbered, not hand marked, is the
width of the set, big. Interesting job, especially the
large, spring loaded split teeth gear. -Hue
