I have three different TA-2 manuals, the earliest of which covers TA-2G, H &
J, dated 10/40. I haven't looked at it recently enough to recall whether the
three letters are options of basically the same vintage transmitter or whether
somewhere there is a TA-2G (only) earlier dated manual. But G is fairly well
into the alphabet. I don't know how many of the earlier letters Bendix might
have skipped but presumably they started off as either TA-2 or TA-2A and
wouldn't have run all the way up to G in less than two years.
Oddly, the TA-2G & H manual (no J) is dated 09/41. The TA-2J-24 manual here
is dated 10/41.
