I remember reading several books written by ADM Gallery. Most were, as the
PBY anecdote indicates, Sea Stories. But he also wrote an account of his North
Atlantic experiences, which included the capture of the U-505.
Unfortunately, I don't recall whether it was my book (in which case in that era probably
paperback and long gone) or checked out of the local library.
