I agree with Al, and will add that I've had an RBB that I've never 
touched  since a guy dumped it in my driveway over 10 years ago and it's 
always worked perfectly.  On the other hand the RBC I picked up later 
has some obvious AVC problems.   Based on this limited sample, my guess 
is the micas in the front-end and elsewhere are probably fine, but any 
paper or even oil-filled should be checked. 

It's worth it, the RBB is a really fine MW receiver.
