That certainly puts it into perspective for me. I would not
hesitate to add a diode noise limiter or audio filter but
doing major mods on surplus really does not make sense.
Those who would object to using old obsolete, smelly,
noisey, low performance gear should quit using such and go
buy a new ricebox.
However, there is no mod or mods that are going to turn an
obsolete radio into a new wonder toy.
Make things better by getting better things makes sense to me.
