[Milsurplus] Odd batteries...

So I was poking around on McMaster Carr's website and saw that there 
are odd shaped carbon zinc batteries  (round, squre, rectangular) in 
varying voltages and terminal types (screw terminals in a lot of 
cases). It seems like there might be some applications for some of 
our historic communications purposes (obviously for low tension only).
