I sitll don't understand the covers. I would think that inside the aircraft,
there's not much else you need to protect it. I can't see fuel vapor being
that strong- if it was, i'd be real afraid to be in the neighborhood- but
what do i know. Living here on the coast, i notice a "salt fog" residue
on the car, that my CB antenna spring has corroded, and that even
walking on the beach on a windy day, you get salt encrusted. However,
i'd still think that in an aircraft, this would be screened out.
That cover i aksed about some months back, it turned out to be for
a GF transmitter, so i guess now i have to look for the cover also for
the RU receiver.
BTW, curious, no cover for the ARB allows for mounting of the ZB/
ARR-1 on top the ARB. -Hue
