Back as a new novice in 1965,  I purchased edition 3 of Volume 1 and 
edition 2 of volume 2 at the not so local radio store (EDCO in Reno, NV)
so I would believe there were only two editions of volume 2. Also 
purchased volume 3 at the same time.

Edition 1 of volume 1 has the schematic of the Bendix MP-28B where the 
next edition left that out.  Apparently they tried to save money by 
leaving out the foldout.

I have two copies of the the Surplus Handbook, only differing by the
cover and binding. The folded and stapled one has the contents listed
on the cover, the bound one has only the title.  Contents are the same.

I'd like to find (even a copy would be OK) of Pafenberg's Index
to Surplus published by 73.
