[Milsurplus] Antenna Reel Question

When I was aircrew on Navy E-2B Hawkeye aircraft, the trailing wire antenna
control had two buttons. Press one button to reel out the antenna, and the
other to reel it back in. If the antenna jammed, you pressed both and the
antenna would be cut. When the landing gear was lowered, the antenna
automatically reeled in.
