[Milsurplus] Antenna Reel Question

I have something like that, but if i recall, it's marked "Telefonics"
as the manufacturer and i don't recall a Navy marking. I assume
it's just the general purpose antenna reel for any class of aircraft
carrying a radio operator in crew. 
Long ago i talked with a Navy aviator about the ARB receiver and
such. Wish i hadn't lost his name.  He was telling me about carrier
plane crew forgetting to reel in the antenna before landing and how
this made a rather mess of the trail aerial. -Hue Miller
