I love to read these audiophools as they gush on and on about such tubes. I'm a bit hard of hearing, so it's a "pearls before swine" thing for me. Give he a good commo speaker or headphones any day. Like the hams on 160 and 80 bragging about their latest mixer or mike. Concert hall quality, yes, but with a thunderstorm and dimmer switches mixed in............HA!

Re: Rat Shack. You'd better know exactly what you want and where it is because the "workers" sure don't. "Shoe salesmen moonlighting for some extra bucks" is being charitable some times.
