Yea, silly old audiophiles arguing endlessly over weather this rectifier
tube sounds better then that and what difference plate design in
rectifiers for the power supply makes in audio quality. Kind of like
arguing over weather you have to use the original dynamotors verses
external modern power supplies to get the "Full Experience" when
using you mill radios, or just what shade of OD green is correct for
repainting your GRR-5. People argue endlessly over minutia in every
hobby. Think that may be my favorite reason for reading this reflector.
Also what kind of name is Fred Volts anyway? Think I will change mine to
Ray Radio.
