It's all based upon the theory of negative resistance.
When you design negative resistors into a special
circuit, you can develop a negative frequency
oscillator. The output of this is fed to a transformer
with a third (tertiary) winding. A transformer so
constructed is known as a step-aside transformer as
opposed to the normal step-up or step-down version.
This ouptut drives a a cathode-coupled current
crippler, which is the heart of the infra-red
destruction generator.

The same way they "hear" the quality of the AC coming from the wall to the
power supply. It's amazing how changing out the last few feet of the power
transmission system -- the Many-Miles-Long power transmission system --
can make such a huge difference. Maybe these people have grain-aligned,
unidirectionally-drawn, oxygen-free copper between their ears; it sure
doesn't behave like brain tissue.
The "sound stage" verbiage is utter and complete bafflegab. Next thing
they'll be talking about threel proctors, the effect of the transformer
paint on the audio, and how the thrimaleen basts only when the upset
gezornenplatz, or something.

Yes, fleecing the suckers. I'm hampered by honesty and pity, both, or I
could have been very, very rich selling this ... _stuff_. This is Yet
Another Wonderful Demonstration that P. T. Barnum was an optimist.
