The same way they "hear" the quality of the AC coming from the wall to the
power supply. It's amazing how changing out the last few feet of the power
transmission system -- the Many-Miles-Long power transmission system --
can make such a huge difference. Maybe these people have grain-aligned,
unidirectionally-drawn, oxygen-free copper between their ears; it sure
doesn't behave like brain tissue.

The "sound stage" verbiage is utter and complete bafflegab. Next thing
they'll be talking about threel proctors, the effect of the transformer
paint on the audio, and how the thrimaleen basts only when the upset
gezornenplatz, or something.
