Right... just crank the regeneration up a bit more and it will not
be blooped out.  Nice to have all those manual controls so that one
can take care of any situation EXCEPT for "single signal" operation.
(a few years later and they might have added audio phasing to remove
the unwanted sideband, but then again, maybe it wasn't needed in those
days since the MIL bands weren't crowded?)
