[Milsurplus] Interesting Navy Morale Radio

 I have this radio and I had an instruction manual that came with it and
I think it was dated 1945.I'm fairly certain it is WW2 vintage. It's
buried up in the loft somewhere. I can try and dig it out and see if I
can pull a date from the paperwork or from the set it self.

 I've seen these receivers here (west coast) before at the swaps years
ago. That's where I got mine from.

And, I think the seller is off by a decade on age.  The CD program 
started in the mid 50s, and this rado has no dial markings.  Even on 
a Navy contract, I don't think a radio could be manufactured in the 
US without those marks after about 1956, so that makes this item a 
pre- '56 radio, not mid '50s to 60s.
