First, let me inform you all that I merely
forwarded the subject article.

Second, Lloyd's statement was the
one I heard when I was a 2nd Lt at
Navigator School that was given by
a 2nd Lt pilot trainee when asked by
his squadron commander to explain
his crash of his aircraft.

I can't imagine having all these misfortunes strike at once.  The best 
answer I can provide are the forever-immortalized words of an old flight 
instructor who answered such questions with his legendary dry wit as 
follows: "stall, spin, crash, burn, die".
