Jack is correct, of course. If they were made for RU or GF/RU they would
have two or three digit numbers, not PL- numbers. The PL- numbers are all Signal
Corps.
Also, the "0" is a "Q", indicating that they are right-angle connectors with
solder glands.
Question to the group. Did some of the SCR-183/283 installations have a
junction box with screw-in connections (cable glands) rather than connectors?
I've never actually seen one of the Signal Corps junction boxes but was under the
impression that they were all similar to the Navy ones.
