I've done several '348s & 312s/342s for friends. Put 5ma current-limit
400v* onB+ ckt AND avc with filaments off. Then went thru with dvm
checkin voltage drop across isolation resistors, etc. This is a fast-find
for the
ringers. Usually 3 or 4 per set

Then left it on test for a day, blah - blah. Have never checked R
tolerance

Now I did do one where micamold cases opened. Owner blanched @ idea
of a x-ray vision reviewer spotting callous clip-outs.

So this is worth a mention. Take clipped-out case & put it in a vise
wide side up. One vise jaw meets body thru a triangular file. Crank
in pressure, voila. Two neat halves (walnut cracker was 1st failed
try). Seem to remember put 2 .005s in to fit cavity

If u just do the clip-outs, revival can go in < 1hr.

*simple bench supply w. 10-20k wire wound in series

this also reforms electrolytics in some sets. More on this
 if wanted
