[Milsurplus] Adcock, schmadcock

[Unserviceable but Repairable]

Seems I hung my hat on a "unilateral adcock" a week ago.  One who's
pattern looks like a cardiod from above, the one with the .25wave,
.75 wave phase harness with dipoles .5 wave apart.  This is the
system used for fox-hunts & is inapplicable for a radio range.  Mea

Well the "Adcock" used in the four-course (diner's club card OK) range
uses another, simpler lay-out that has nulls off both "boom ends."  Pattern
looks like dumbo's ears from above.  Suggest plugging interferometer &
adcock into some looer-upper & read further detail.
