I left out two words. Make that "on the receiver *shipping box* itself." "Beacon" does not appear on the receiver.
FWIW, the 12 vdc Model 512 was also known as the R-76/ARR-13 and required an HV supply (the manual recommends the RCA AVA-126), and (apparently) the dry-battery powered Model 591 was also known as AN/CRR-1. I'd like to find out more info about the intended use of the AN/CRR-1.
