There is a section on the RoyalSignals site:

www.RoyalSignals.org.uk

with a number of WW II radio broadcasts that might be of interest.

What was i looking for, when i found this? Oh yes- i was looking for
a place to buy the CD "Soldatensender Belgrad", which is, as i so
far understand, a recreation of a WW2 broadcast by this German
Armed Forces radio station - recorded with original recordings, and
under the guidance of surviving original staff. ( I found i also
wanted
to avoid buying it from one of the "neo Nazi supplies" vendors on
the Net....) This station popularized the broadcast song
"Lili Marlene" but as i seem to have read, the song was considered
too depressing by the German Propaganda Ministry to be allowed to
be broadcast in-country. However the Belgrad station was widely heard
thoughout Europe and North Africa at night. But anyway, i did also
find
this site, and if perhaps like me, you cannot get enuff of WW2
stories,
this might prove a quite interesting collection of anecdotes:

  http://timewitnesses.org/english/stories.html

I found it also interesting that his previous online effort he had to
close
because of the bad guys - the malicious hackers out there who don't
  know what freedom is.

Maybe it is also the case that someone you know has a great story or
two that really should be preserved, not allowed just to fade away
forgotten. I know that is true for me.

Not my intention to start an off-topic string of messages here on
these
groups. I just wanted to provide what i thought was an interesting
lead
  to investigate. -Hue Miller
