OK, I believe ya

Reason note is I realized something yesterday something about the
mid-'41 "jingoistic short" called The Tanks are Coming.  Was driving
thru Citadel campus (lords of discipline) & there was a Sherman on the
parade ground.  And wire-heads, it hadda whip

So the movie title came back & it dawned on me it was a parallel to
a line fm the ww1 chest-sweller called "Over There."  The refrain
"the yanks are comin'" appears again & again

Stupid me, all troop in movie short were wearing doughboy pots too
