Paul,Don, and All
Actually it is "Beneath the Southern Cross".I watched the scene a few
times and the GP is the dominant item in the picture.The scene lasts
maybe 3 seconds at most and no pan.Possibly you can see a receiver rack
mounted above the GP but I cannot be sure as I am not familliar with
the RAX, except what I've seen on ebay, and the focus was poor.
I wonder if a visit to Moffet Field might turn up some photoes?There
is a small museum in Hanger One with some neat stuff.It's been years
since I've been there and I've heard rumors that the hanger may be torn
down in the near future.Also Hiller Aviation Museum may have some
archived photoes too.Haven't been there yet.
