Just had another thought!  The flexibility
of this stuff might lead one to select it
to run power to mobile HF rigs and amps.

Monster Cable apparently has non-audiophile cable, or at least it's  large 
cable lends itself well to high current uses.  At our PMEL a  few years ago 
we were issued a new high current transconductance amp  (device to calibrate 
high current devices).  The large test cables  were -- 4-0 Monster Cable.  
Good stuff, braided, almost as flexible  as meter test leads.  I don't 
remember if it was oxygen free. LOL
