[Milsurplus] ?CD-280 for SCR506 mount

I am putting together a SCR506 in an M8 armored car.  I have the 
FT253 mount but lack the 2 CD-280's that are used to connect into the 
12V armored car electrical system.

I would appreciate it if anyone can give me the correct gauge to use 
to make "repro" CD280's.
