I have received additional information on the Timonium Hamfest and wish to
post it to the list at this time.
As I have said in the past it is a great two day hamfest offering excellent
facilities including indoor tailing gating and several large buildings for
commercial and private sales. In the past we have set up operational
military radio displays and held "Dayton" style radio nets. Its always been
a great gathering and we certainly wish the BARC the best of luck with their
efforts. The links to the club site are listed below.

Dear Mr. Smith,

Someone was spreading rumors that are not true, as BARC has made NO
decisions about not holding the GBH&C at Timonium. Here are the facts, as
best as we can tell you:

Last year (2005) we lost money, mostly due to the weather. We have, as
everyone does, a hard time finding enough vendors to fill our
buildings. To that end, we created the new craft and home care venue in
the home arts building. For it's first time, it was mildly successful.

We said that if we didn't make money, we would probably not be back, but
the good news is we did make some money, so at this point, we're already
getting ready for our review meeting and first planning session for 2007.

If you would be so kind as to forward this to the same list where the
rumors went, I would be most grateful. As soon as we make any decisions,
they will be posted on www.baltarc.com or www.gbhc.org.

Thanks, and very 73
