Actually, the speaker mention surprises me. I would have thought, first, 
it's a high noise
environment, whether travelling or halted firing, and second, the pressure 
wave might
damage the speaker cone ( witness the adjustable "choke" blastproof speakers 
on some
BC-603 receivers - i was just thinking that might be because of a confined 
environment -
but i just recalled i owned a BC-669 with the same blastproof speaker - 
choke looks the
