I remember a story about the Beech King Air twin turbo-prop light plane
which also had the capability of fully reversing the prop pitch.

The test pilot was asked to find out what would happen if full-reverse
pitch were somehow accidentally activated in normal flight. He did this
test at quite a high altitude, thank heavens.

When he operated the controls into full-reverse pitch, the King Air
literally fell out of the sky. He was able to recover only because he had
enough altitude. Beech then fixed the controls so that full-reverse pitch
couldn't be gotten into by accident.
