I use an ex. Navy Onan MG set, 120/240 V   60 Hz, single phase 2HP drive 
motor, 115vac, 400Hz out rated at 600W.   Also 24 VDC out at 3.5 A.

Have a second unit FREE FOR THE HAULING!   No output the last time I tried it 
but probably fixable (drive motor runs fine & bearings OK).
