There are many military rigs that run on 3 phase power, mostly Navy
rigs. The AN/WRT-1 and 2 are good examples.
This is why I was very interested in trying to discover some method of
powering them from normal single-phase house current.
Include the modulator/power supply for the SRT-15. I installed a rotary
converter when I built my new shop/wallow. The building has a 220VAC 200 amp
service, the RotoPhase converter will handle any single motor to 3hp or an
aggregate of 9hp. The use was powering my 3hp 3ph Unisaw and a 36" bandsaw
and that works just fine. I have not looked at the waveforms of the phases
or tried to power any electronic equipment.
