No.  The T-47A didn't come out until sometime in '44.  And all of the jack 
holes have a cover or none do.  

The switch must be farther to the left than I understood from your original 
post.  If it's in the same location as a jack on the T-47A, whoever installed 
the switch must have removed a jack.
