I have a lot of  Navy documentation that indicates extensive use
of Signal Corps equipment under Signal Corps nomenclature.
There are a few exceptions from early on, such as the BC-721
handie-talkie, which was renomenclatured "AMA."

p.s. If anyone finds AMA serial number 205, it was
stolen from me years ago.
