I never heard of K-anything radio manufacturer except Kaar, and Kaar didn't
make
this.
Civilian aircraft put to such use used civilian radios - from the docs and
ads i have
seen, RCA and Lear - in fact, i have period advertisements that specifically
point out these makers' radios for this application. -Hue Miller
