Here's something you don't see everyday - we have a
large, 6-foot-tall broadcast transmitter, surplus from
Civil Defense, a GE Broadline, late 1960s or early
1970s vintage, with the mic and keyer unit, for anyone
interested in playing it. These were used in the 33MHz
to
45MHz range, illegal to use in for the ham bands, but
can be tweaked down from what I understand into the
10-meter banc, around 29-30MHz. Unit receives, but
was told by previous owner that it has a small problem
in the final amp portion of the transmitter, so does
not transmit without repair. VERY HEAVY! Will
require a full sized pickup to take away, and nothing
less.

Price: FREE

Condition: very good physically

Must go soon - we need the storage area in the
shed. You pick up in Northern Virginia.
