Hi All,
I don't recall which number cord,but Fair Radio has or had a cord that
works,about 6 or 10 ft. long.

The correct plug is the PL-68, which later became PL-068. The cords
with
PL-68 or PJ-068 one end and PL-55 or PJ-055B the other (to work with
BC-348 or
the Phones 2nd Audio jack on BC-312 family) are (at least) CD-267,
CD-1117 and
CX-2481/U. Cords with PL-68 or PJ-068 both ends (to work with BC-312
family
using the Speaker 2nd Audio Jack) are CD-214, CD-265 and CD-371.
FWIW, the reason that the LS-3 uses as an input jack the JK-33 3-circuit
microphone jack is supposedly that it was the service replacement for an
earlier
loudspeaker that was electrodynamic instead of permanent magnet. And
backwards
compatibility was part of the design requirement.
