Hello -
I bought some NOS surplus IF transformers and was trying to ID them. They are in 1-1/4" square cans about 3-1/2" tall and have the phenolic material showing at both ends. They are marked " 1 IF", "2 IF", etc. to "4 IF". The grid terminal is on top of transformer. All of them have part # SC 722. Some have a grid wire out side {otherwise same as others} and are marked # SC 718. I saw dates of 1944 marked on some. They are a decent looking IF unit, the coils on them are slug tuned and they are about 135 through 160 uH. However, one of the coils in the " 4 IF" units is around 1 mH. I need to check them further but I suspect they are for around 1 to 1.2 Mhz. area. There is one that you can tell it belongs with these and is marked " CW OSC" and it has a small air trimmer shaft protruding out bottom of can.
                    Thanks, Byron.
