[Milsurplus] SX-28

Good afternoon...

Can someone or ones give their impressions or opinions of the SX-28 
receiver.  I think I would like to find one to rack mount and save a 
little room in my shack.  I have one located (maybe), but it doesn't 
seem to have an outer case or shell as does the rack mountable SP-600.  
Is this the way it came from the factory or should it have an enclosure 
even when rack mounted?

Any and all opinions and advice will be greatly appreciated.
