Sorry, I didn't explain it very well. The major combattants got up graded
but support and auxilliary ships were left with the older gear as long as it
worked or until a major yard overhaul. Gary, KM6A, retired RMC says they
were still using RBS receivers in the early '60s on the ammo and transport
ships he was stationed on. My 1955 SRT-14/15 manual has the RBA-RBB-RBC
listed as matching RXs.

So they had a choice of what receivers to use? I can see some old timers
not wanting to use those fancypants RBB contraptions.
