Another request: does anyone have an RAL-* name tag or copy thereof? My
RAL-7 has no tag. I noticed that some hams in possession of surplus had some
sort of aversion to keeping the original mil tags on the equipment and they
removed them...

OOPS! Not Ham removal but often when the Navy shit canned the radios the
tags were pulled off so the folks in possession could prove the sets had
been turned in. After the radio was hauled off-ship the tags were turned in
to the supply types and the shit canned radio was no longer a Navy item. We
got 'em, but without the tags.

EdZ...who has several RAK/RAL, TCS, etc without tag
one!!!!!!!!!!!!!~8^*....but they work anyway.
