I have a R-1440/WLR-6(V) receiver. HF, crystal controlled,
three banks of 12 channels for 36 total frequencies.
Made by Sylvania for USNBS and about the size of a shoe box
(I have big feet).
Picked it up years ago at an obscure NC Hamfest. The gent
had two but this example wasn't hacked up and looked original.
Still has some crystals in it so if there is any interest in what
"spook" frequencies* were covered, contact** me off list.
Regards,
Jim
*other then WWV
** For security reasons, list will be sent on a need to know basis only!
