The CW ham bands are plenty active. If they are not so at your house, your antennas are too small, your receivers dead, or you're not really trying.

I've been having a blast on 80 CW with my TBX lately, working Bonaire, Georgia(list member AA4RM), Ohio(list member W8AU) and on and on.  This with a 42-foot unloaded wire vertical.

When I fire up my TCK, the whole world answers my CQs.
