If it is any consolation, I have a GE industrial interchangeability guide from the late 50s which includes CRTs, and it lists neither of those tube numbers.  I recognize the GL prefix has to be GE, but that may be a later model than 1960 or so.  Any chance there is a date code on it?  Something like 188-2 6030?  The 188 is GE's EIA number, the dash is the specific plant, and the final 4 are year/week.
