The FCC and the ARRL has given our hobby a great gift.THE REMOVABLE of THE 
CODE from amatuer hobby.It has held back many good hams and future hams long 
enough and I know a lot of thease people that know how to build and make 
antennas but code is not there thing and would not go any where else in the 
hobby.We have a bunch of Even Extras that cant build or repair but can 
memorize the code and theory but cant put a PL 259 on coax.
Now that code isnt a requirement time to bring the low er class licennse 
people ugraded and those folks that want to become one of us in the fold.
Its to bad it took so long we passed so many by.There are a lot of modes for 
and our intrests so if you like code do it but dont force it on anyone
There is a lot more but I have said enough
