so, there you have it. Guy will not post as valves  do not travel well. 
That's where we have all been going wrong, travelling our  valves. So all those 
valves (that's tubes by the way for our colonials) that  were stuck in tanks and 
bombers and ships and jeeps, well, they obviously  survived where a short trip 
by a carrier in a well sprung truck on a tarmac  highway  reduces them to 
shards. 
 
Don't you just love 'that' place. It has  everything, comedy, pathos, 
illiteracy. Better than watching tv.
