Here is more on the radio ranges notes

Types of ranges-1) Square Range(quadrant 90 deg)
               2)Squeezed or Scissors Range
                 (two quadrants of less than 90 deg)
               3)Crowfoot(no two quadrantsneed be  the
same size)
    
90 Deg orientation
              1) analyze signal (bisignal)
              2) determinetype of quadrant (square or
sqeezed)
              3) note heading
              4) take up nearer bisector heading of
opposite quadrants
              5) contact station
              6) hold heading until beam is CROSSED
              7) if leaving beam turn 180 deg left
              8) turn 90 deg Right
              9) if signal becomes clearer, turn 270
deg left
             10) if beam is re-crossed, hold heading,
approx. one minute turn 180 deg left
             11) Report position & request clearance
             12) If not clear to nearer beam, take up
appropriate bisector of opposite quadrant till signal
becomes clear. Approach beam on perpendicular or
parallel heading
             13) cross desired beam do bisector
turn.Head on bisector of quadrant outbound for approx.
one minute turn 180 deg toward beam away from station.
         Fade Right Angle with Parrallel variation
             1) Analyse signals (clear or bisig)
             2) determine type of quad.(open or
squeez)
             3) Note heading
             4) Turn to nearer bisector heading of
same quadrants
             5) Contact station
             6) Check build with build 
                Check fade with build
             7) report position, request clearance
             8) take up heading of undesired beam, if
in open quadrant till desired beam is crossed.Do
bisector turn.
             9) if in squeeze quadrant take
perpendicular heading to desired beam. Cross beam & do
bisector turn ( if you re-orient yourself request
clearance to closer leg  and proceed on either +
(cross) or II ( parallel) heading 
 
             Let Down
            1) Prepare!
            2) CONE
              i)Check Time
             ii)Start Turning
            iii)Slow Cruise
            3) Begin bracketing let down leg
            4) Request clearance to let down, Report
time over station
            5) Set down outbound 2500' or above
            6) Bisector turn to right
            7) Report ETA over field.
